Who Do We Support?

The Montagnard Dega people are a group of indigenous peoples in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. The US has a close connection with these people, as Montagnard villagers helped USA Special Forces during the Vietnam war. Now, fast-paced economic and cultural changes endanger these communities. Many villagers are rural farmers who struggle to be able to pass on their ancestral lands and cultural heritage to their children.

We support women who are weavers and mothers. We support elders who are an important part of history and source of wisdom. We invest in families, children, and education, so that the Montagnard Dega peoples can have a brighter future.
